For those people who were fans of the old "Twin Peaks" TV show, this shot was taken below the falls that are shown in the opening title sequence of the show. The massive log on a railway car is still on the tracks through town, but now it's got a wooden canopy over it. When I first drove into Snoqualmie and got out of my car I was struck by a sense of having been there before, because I had no idea of the significance of the town.
